Sense seems to have prevailed over Chinese authorities that they finally pulled back from their stand off point after pitching their tents in Indian territory of Daulat Baig Oldi sector some 20 days back.
The Chinese move had brought the armies ot the two countries on the brink of war. It is a matter of satisfaction that the two countries resolved the matter through discussion and did not led the situation spiral out of their control. Had the two parties, mishandled the situation it would have created a volatile atmosphere in the region. To avoid such incidents in the future, it is suggested that the border issue be resolved at the earliest. The
Chinese use border issue as a pretext to bully India as and when it wants to have leverage over India.
Further, India must strengthen its security all along its border with Pakistan and China.
Chinese aggressive posture should serve India as a wake-up call to overcome its deficiences attain military might more than China.
