India, Pak troops trade fire

Srinagar, Oct 7: India and Pakistan this afternoon exchanged heavy gunfire along the Line of Control (LoC) at Hajipeer sector, in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Srinagar based Defence spokesman, Colonel Rajesh Kalia, said that Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation.
Panic gripped Hajipeer sector villages due to Pakistani firing.
There was, however, no loss of life or damage to property.
