India, Pak hold flag meet on LoC

JAMMU, Sept 3: India and Pakistan today held a Brigade Commander level flag meeting at Chakan-Da-Bagh Zero Line in Poonch district to discuss ceasefire violations by Pakistan Army on the Line of Control (LoC) and attempt by them to push trained militants into this side.
Official sources said Indian side in the flag meeting was led by 10 Brigade Commander Brigadier S Thakran while Brig Atiq Dar led the Pakistani side.
The flag meeting that started at 11 am lasted over three hours.
Indian side lodged protest over ceasefire violations by Pakistan and attempt by militants from across the LoC to infiltrate into this side under the cover of firing.
Pakistan side, as usual, remained in the denial mode.
Sources said several other issues were also discussed in the flag meeting.
