India, Pak good relations key to peace in sub-continent: Mustafa Kamaal

JAMMU, Jan 12: The National Conference additional general secretary Dr Mustafa Kamaal today said the ceasefire between the two countries must continue because its violation adversely affects the population of the militancy-affected State.
While condemning the killings along the LoC, Dr Kamaal said that it was unacceptable in a civil society but ceasefire should continue because good relation between these two countries is key to peace in the sub-continent.
Dr Kamaal was addressing people at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan in Jammu.
Favoring sustained dialogue between India and Pakistan to resolve all outstanding issues, he said that continuous dialogue process between the two neighbors will help to address the problems and find out its solution. “India and Pakistan should join hands and understand that dialogue is the only way to resolve all outstanding issues. To resolve conflicts all of us should accept that dialogue is the only way,” he said.
Dr Kamaal said that a huge percentage of people in both the countries is still living below poverty line and the priority of the two neighboring countries should be to alleviate the miseries of their people.
Terming the reported halt on LoC trade as very unfortunate Dr Kamaal appealing both India and Pakistan to ensure that CBMs must go on and the trade and dialogue process between the two countries is not hampered.
