NEW DELHI: India and Myanmar have discussed cooperation in the field of security, drug trafficking, boundary matters, wildlife smuggling, visa and prisoners in jails of respective countries.
“Two sides mutually agreed that all steps should be made to ensure tranquillity along the border and safety and wellbeing of people in the border area,” the Home Ministry said in a statement.
The national level meeting between both the nations was held in Myanmar’s Nay Pyi Taw.
The next meeting will be held in India in 2018. (AGENCIES)
