COIMBATORE, Oct 4: The India Knit Fair — Autumn/Winter/ Midsummer Collection 2014, will be held at nearby Tirupur from October 9.
The 37th edition of the fair will showcase an entire range of the latest designs in high fashion knitwear garments for men, women and children.
This includes casual wear, party-wear, pullovers, cardigans, T-shirts, underwears, jogging suits, swim wear and sports wear, A Shaktivel, President of Tirupur Exporters Association, the joint organisers, told reporters last night at Tirupur.
Special delegations from Japan and Poland, who are among 70 buyers and 50 buying agents, had confirmed their participation in the three-day fair, he said.
Shaktivel said it was decided to give an opportunity to domestic retailers also for their sourcing as export and Indian retail scene has undergone a change in recent years.
Besides, TEA, India Knit Fair Association and Apparel Export Promotion Council are the joint organisers. (PTI)
