LEH: Stressing on the need for revival of ancient knowledge along with modern education in order to revive inner peace, the Dalai Lama today asserted that India can play a significant role in bringing world peace.
“There is a need for revival of ancient knowledge along with modern education in order to revive inner peace. India can play a significant role in bringing world peace,” the 14th Dalai Lama said while interacting with Advisor to Chief Minister, Professor Amitabh Mattoo at Jivetsal, Choglamsar Leh today.
Prof Mattoo, who is heading a Working Group for improving education standard of J&K under ‘Knowledge Initiative’ briefed Dalai Lama about the steps taken by Government under the leadership of Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti to improve the educational scenario of the State. (AGENCIES)
