SRINAGAR, June 18: A delegation of In-charge Lecturers Coordination Committee Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh, called on Principal Secretary School Education, Asgar Hassan Samoon in his office chamber at Civil Secretariat Srinagar and presented him a memorandum seeking regularization of In-charge Officers.
The delegation apprised the Principal Secretary that inspite of Cabinet decision of 2018 and SAC decision of January 2019 for one time exemption to consider regularization of all the In-charge Officers of all cadres of Education Department, only one DPC was conducted in July 2019, clearing the cases of few hundred in-charge officers.
“However during last 11 months, no DPC was convened when more than 8000 in-charge officers are waiting for their regularization,” they said. The Principal Secretary gave a patient hearing and assured that after formal Darbar move, the process of regularization will be expedited.
The delegation was led by Showkat Wani, Abdul Rashid Malik and others.
