SUNDERBANI, June 15: Former MLC and PCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma visited Letar, Makole, Devak, Athal and other parts of Nowshera constituency today and interacted with the people and party workers to take stock of the problems of people.
Sharma said that the condition of Letar-Devak-Athal road has gone bad to worst due to non-maintenance and it requires immediate repairs. He demanded that this road should be repaired/blacktopped on top priority basis. He blamed the present Govt for the neglect of this area.
He said that Devak was recommended for a full-fledged BDO Block and Tehsil status by the previous NC-Congress Coalition Govt, but it is unfortunate that the present Govt has not considered it so far. It should be considered on the basis of population and distance from Sub District headquarters, Sharma added.
