Sir,
The makers of the constitution were deeply farsighted and visionary about emergence of coalition culture and consequent impediments in formation of Govts when the parties lack clear majority. The federal structure as enshrined in the constitution ensures stability in governance even in situations where democratic Govts can’t be brought into existence due to political rivalries. All political parties, honouring the verdict of the voters, should help formation of a popular Govt to meet the aspirations of the public. Regional biases and prejudices rooted and nourished by political giants are blocking the path of development.
The State is totally unprepared and unable to meet exorbitant expenditures on repeated elections as are being held in Delhi. When millions and millions are without shelter, and food, the political parties are adamant on their fixed agenda. It is a travesty of justice in democracy. The true leaders unlike fair weather friends should always carry pain in their hearts for the masses and not only to live and die for their own children.
Yours etc….
