JAMMU, Aug 21: Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh deputation led by its State general secretary Bushan Sharma met Regional Director, Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC).
While speaking, Sharma said that thousands of workers are working in the industries and other establishments in the areas from Sarore to Samba bridge, Narwal Bye Pass to Sidhra and surrounding Jammu, but they are deprived of the ESI health care benefits.
He urged the ESI Regional Director to take up the matter with the Government and make way for early implementation of ESI scheme in the left out areas.
Regional Director gave patient hearing to the demand and assured to take action.
Among others present were Harbans Choudhary, member, ESI Local Committee, Ashok Choudhary and Sachin Bali.
