JAMMU, Dec 7: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), senior leader and president, Kissan Morcha, Omi Khajuria has demanded immediate installation of motor at tube well Dharmal which has broke down once again disrupting water supply in Dharmal village, adjoining colonies including Anuradha Puram sector one and two and some parts of Barnai also.
Khajuria in a statement issued here, today said that it has been a routine affair that motor gets damaged every month disrupting drinking water supply in the area. He said this time again the motor has developed a snag with the result the water supply has been affected in these localities and people were put to lot of trouble.
He demanded that the motor be immediately restored in the area so that people are not put to problems due to drinking water scarcity. Khajuria also demanded that a one spare motor by kept stand by at the tube well so that in the event of any fault in the motor another one can be made functional so that the water supply is not affected in the area.
