SRINAGAR, May 16: During the intervening night of May 15 and 16, Achabal police on a tip off, intercepted a Tractor bearing registration number JK03C/9238 near village Paisan Utrasoo, Anantnag and recovered illicit timber. The tractor was carrying about 40-50 square feet illicit timber in its trolley. The tractor and the illicit timber were seized. The tractor driver Bilal Ahmad Wani, son Mohammad Afzal of Ahoopaisan and his accomplice Farooq Ahmad Malik, son of Ghulam Mohammad of Chattergul were arrested. A case FIR no; 46/2013 under Section 379 RPC and 6 F Act was registered in this regard.
