POONCH, May 30: The Revenue and Police team in a joint operation today removed illegal construction on Government land at village Seri Khawaja in Poonch district.
Official sources said that on the direction of Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Rahul Yadav and Tehsildar Haveli, Naib Tehsildar Chandak Mohd Afzal along with field staff and Police team headed by DySP Headquarters reached the spot early in the morning at 6 AM and dismantled shops illegally constructed by Ghulam Rasool, son of Jamal Joo and his son during lock down on State land bearing Khasra No.134 at village Seri Khwaja.
The team using JCB dismantled the structure and cleared the State land. An FIR stand already lodged at the local Police Station against the accused persons.
