IIA organizing BME from today

JAMMU, Oct 18: Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), J&K Centre is organizing four days Building Materials Expo (BME) from tomorrow at Royal Retreat Hari Niwas.
This was stated by SL Suri, Chairman IIA during a press conference here today. Devinder Gupta, Vice Chairman, Vikas Dubey, treasure, Harbinder Pal Singh, secretary, Anil Anand and Maharaj Krishan Sharma, executive members were also present.
Suri said that BME is a unique opportunity for manufacturers and dealers to display their materials, products and also for various professional and financial institutions to project their programmes which will help them in having direct interaction and discussions among various professionals and buyers/users visiting the exhibition.
During the expo, direct mailers and professionals from various parts of the country engaged in the field of Architecture, interior and building trade will participate, he added.
Besides architects, engineers and official of Government and Public Sector Undertaking will also visit the expo to see the latest product and techniques, Suri informed.
For participation and space booking, IIA invite manufacturers, dealers of building and furnishing material, professional and financial institution to display their products and exhibit their building techniques and concept of interior designing, he added.
Stalls are being booked on first come first serve basis, he said, adding that already 15 stalls are booked and others are in pipeline.
