Sir,
I express deep disappointment with the PDP-BJP alliance for ignoring special treatment to the marginalized sections of the society viz SC/ST/OBC forming 75 percent of the State population in the sector of social justice in its maiden budget presented by the Finance Minister  Haseeb Drabu.
The social sector which comprises highest chunk of State electorate should have been given the highest priority but Government’s insensitiveness towards this basic sector is shocking.
The Government should have made the mention of special component plan, special recruitment drive, enhancement of scholarship, steps for preventing the bungling in the disbursement of the scholarship, construction of separate hostels for the SC/ST/OBC students but it seems that Govt is not in a mood to move towards the creation of an economically equal society.
Inspite of the years long movement by the OBC Organisations, no word for the implementation of Mandal Commission Report in the State stands spoken either by the Finance Minister or by Chief Minister or by the SC/ST/OBC legislators in their addresses regarding the State Budget.
Govt is urged upon to clear its stand on these highly important matters.
Yours etc…..
