JAMMU, Mar 15: The State Cabinet today also ordered reshuffle in the police administration but it was confined to the level of IGPs and DIGs. Both IGPs of Jammu and Kashmir divisions have been changed in the reshuffle.
Dr B Srinivas, IGP CID has been transferred and posted as IGP Home-Guards vice J P Singh. Srinivas will also hold the charge of the post of ADGP Home-Guards till further orders.
A K Choudhary, IGP (Personnel) PHQ has been transferred and posted as IGP (Hqrs) PHQ vice Deepak Kumar.
Deepak Kumar, IGP (Hqrs) PHQ has been transferred and posted as IGP, Armed Kashmir vice Mukesh Singh.
S J M Gillani, IGP, Crime has been transferred and posted as IGP, Kashmir Zone vice Abdul Gani Mir.
Abdul Gani Mir, IGP Kashmir Zone has been transferred and posted as IGP, CID vice Dr B Srinivas.
