JAMMU, Aug 4: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu Zone Mukesh Singh visited different places here today evening to review the security arrangements ahead of Independence Day and in view of upcoming events tomorrow.
The places visited were Raghunath Temple, Ranbireshwar Temple, Civil Secretariat, Bagh-e-Bahu Temple, Airport, Railway Station etc.
Singh was accompanied by SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil and the respective Zonal SPs of city.
IGP reviewed the security setup and emphasized on ensuring alertness and proactive checking to prevent any untoward incident in the city.
He also had interaction with the people.
