JAMMU, Sept 23: IGP Security Alok Kumar today reviewed security of Civil Secretariat and took Darbar of jawans of Security Component of Civil Secretariat Srinagar.
He also reviewed the Security of the Secretariat and Assembly Complex at Srinagar.
Dushyant Sharma, SSP Security Civil Secretariat Srinagar briefed the IGP Security about the security arrangements at place in Civil Secretariat Srinagar.
During the darbar, the IGP interacted with the Jawans and keenly listened to their grievances and briefed them about the sensitivity of their duties, keeping in view the present challenges.
He appreciated the dedication of officers/officials towards their duties and emphasized them to remain more vigilant in future as well.
Few Jawans also raised their grievances for which IGP has assured them for immediate redressal.
On this occasion, R.K Chalotra SSP, SO to IGP Security J&K, Layeeq Ahmad, CPO SHQ, Mudassar Hussain, DySP Security Civil Secretariat & DySP Khursheed Ahmad Baba were also present.
