JAMMU, Oct 9: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu Zone Dr SD Singh has ordered promotion of 665 Selection Grade Constables (SgCts ) to the rank of Head Constables (HCs).
The promotion was ordered in the 9th DPC, which was held under the chairmanship of IGP Jammu Zone.
The officers who were members on the board constituted were Rajesh Sharma, SSP, SO to IGP JZ, Kulbir Singh, SSP PCR, Jammu, Parshotam Lal Deputy Director Prosecution, ZPHQ (TADA Court Jammu) and Deshbir Singh Inspector (Personnel) ZPHQ, Jammu.
IGP Dr SD Singh expressed hope that this promotion will act as a morale booster for the police officials so as to rededicate themselves to work with even more zeal and enthusiasm thereby bringing laurels to the Police Department.
