JAMMU, Nov 19: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) celebrated its 33rd Foundation Day on November 19, 2018.
Prof Ram G Takwale, former Vice Chancellor, IGNOU, was chief guest on the occasion at the IGNOU New Delhi Headquarters. Presidential address was delivered by Prof Nageshwar Rao, Vice Chancellor, IGNOU.
To commemorate the 33rd Foundation Day, Regional Centre Jammu also celebrated the Foundation day with great enthusiasm.
The celebrations, here at RC Jammu, started with watching the live webcast of the function from the New Delhi Hqrs, which was followed by Deep Prajwalan. All the staff members of IGNOU Regional Centre Jammu including Regional Director I/c, Dr Vikram Singh, Assistant Regional Directors-Dr Sandeep Gupta, Dr Asha Upadhyay, Deputy Registrar, TP Singh and Section Officer Dara Singh were present on the occasion.
