BHADERWAH, Dec 16: An igloo hut was gutted in mysterious ablaze in Khellani area here today afternoon.
According to the reports, one of the 5 igloo huts constructed by Bhadarwah Development Authority (BDA) at Khellani tourist resort caught fire under mysterious circumstance and within one hour reduced to ashes.
No one was injured in the fire incident although locals tried to extinguish the fire as fire tenders could not reach the spot immediately.
When contacted,CEO BDA Navdeep Wazir said that after witnessing smoke from one of the igloo at Khellani, the employees immediately rushed to the spot and along with locals tried to extinguish the fire.
Wazir said, “It seems due to short circuit the igloo gutted in fire. However, we are going to lodge an FIR to get the matter investigated”.
