NEW DELHI, Aug 5: The price of piped cooking gas in Delhi and adjoining cities was hiked by Rs 2.63 per unit on Friday.
According to Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL), the piped gas in the national capital will now cost Rs 50.59 per unit. The new rates are applicable from Friday.
”In order to partially offset the increase in input gas cost, the price of domestic PNG in Delhi is being revised to Rs 50.59 per SCM,” IGL said.
According to the new rate, the price of domestic PNG in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad is Rs 50.46 per unit, in Karnal and Rewari Rs 49.40, in Gurugram Rs 48.79, in Muzaffarnagar, Meerut and Shamli Rs 53.97, in Ajmer, Pali and Rajsamand Rs 56.23, and in Kanpur, Hamirpur and Fatehpur Rs.53.10.
The price of compressed natural gas (CNG) remains unchanged at Rs 75.61 per kg in NCT of Delhi. (UNI)
