JAMMU, May 14: The Postgraduate Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, IGGDC Jammu, organized a workshop on the topic “Single visit CAD-CAM Restorations”.
In the workshop, a lecture was delivered by Dr Abrar Sayed (HoD, Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, GDC Mumbai). The workshop highlighted the recent advancements in the technology which enables dentists to provide patients with accurate, strong dimensionally stable restorations in a single visit.
The demonstration was given to undergraduate and post graduates students from different branches on how to use this advance equipment to design and manufacture various restoration and prosthesis with more advanced technology and in less duration of time.
The programme was initiated by efforts of Dr Prof Azhar Malik (HoD) and coordinated by Dr Ajay Kumar (Incharge Academics), Dr Rachna Dhani, Dr Shamim Anjum, Dr Rudra Kaul (Incharge Workshops and CDE programme) and Dr Ravinder Kumar, Dr Sachin Chadgal, Dr Kanchan Bhagat, Dr Ashish Choudary and Dr Sukhbir Kaur, Dr Kanchan Bhagat, Dr Sangeeta contributed in various capacities towards the programme.
This was in context to develop advanced clinical skills and atmosphere of research in the Postgraduate programmes of Dental College. The programme was attended by all faculty members, graduate and postgraduate students and Principal Dr Rakesh Krishan Gupta.
