JAMMU, Mar 26: Newly appointed Inspector General of Police Jammu Zone Rajesh Kumar today briefed Governor N N Vohra about security at a meeting at Raj Bhawan here.
“Mr Kumar, called on Mr Vohra at Raj Bhawan here this evening and during the meeting, they discussed issues pertaining to internal security management in the Jammu region, particularly including surveillance of the growing pilgrimage to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine,” an official spokesman here said.
He said this was Mr Kumar’s first meeting with the Governor after recently taking over as the Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone. (AGENCIES)
