JAMMU, June 2: The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Jammu Center conducted its Annual General body Meeting (AGM), in the office of chairman, Professor Rakesh Vaid, during which the new body of the office bearers for the session 2018-20 was elected.
Dr Parveen Lehana, Professor in the Department of Electronics, University of Jammu and Dr Pawanesh Abrol, Professor in the Department of Computer Science & IT, University of Jammu were unanimously elected as chairman and honorary secretary of IETE Jammu centre, respectively while Samir Sharma, (AEE PDD, J&K) was nominated as vice-chairman and Dr Radhika Khanna was elected as treasurer of the centre.
Besides electing the new body, the meeting approved the financial statement and activity report for 2017-18. Maj Gen SK Sharma (retd), Joy Ganjoo, Col CD Manotra (retd), Jamini Sharma and Rajinder Tiwari were among the prominent fellows and members who attended the meeting.
