IECS Polytechnic organises extension lectures

JAMMU, Nov 1: IECS Polytechnic orgainsed extension lectures, workshops and field visits in which students of various departments participated. An extensive lecture on “How to deal with examination stress” was also organized.

Samvedna Sharma, Psychologist discussed the problems faced by the students during examination period, meanwhile, one day entrepreneurship motivation program was also conducted in collaboration with Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India to promote entrepreneurship among polytechnic students in which Shashi Raj, Technical Officer, MSME, Ratni Peer, Industry Promotional Officer, DIC Mahesh Dutt Bali, Chief Manager, PNB and B B Raina Entrepreneur and Prop Penican Cables, Bari Brahmana were the recourse persons.
Various industrial visits for students of different departments were conducted. Workshop were conducted in collaboration with brain stair technology on topic “Java and its application in which Er Sushil Tandon along with his team of experts apprised students about application of Java language in computer engineering fields.
Principal IECS Polytechnic, Prof K G Gupta and Dean Administration, Er Ajay Singh Jamwal appreciated the initiative by faculty and keen interest shown by students in all the activities during the semester.
