JAMMU, May 8: Indian Cultural Forum (ICF) organized “Sham-e-Ghazal”, a musical evening based on the poetry of renowned Urdu Poet, Yoginder Paul Tair, at KL Saigal Hall, here today.
The event started with welcome address by ICF president, Sham Sajan, who stressed upon the participants to take cognizance of the purity and depth of literature and music to enjoy the bliss.
During the event, Aditya Bhanu, an upcoming singer, mesmerized the audience with his rendition of “Abas Hei Kis Zakhmon ko Paaliya Sahib” in raag Mishre Tilang.
Gurusharan rendered the Ghazal “Kyoon Doosron Pei Har Gharhee Ungli Uthaaeeye” in raag Darbari Khanhra, Neelam Langeh and Subhash presented “Dekhte Dekhte Murjha Ke Bikhar Jayega” in raag Bhairavi, while Sargam Pant rendered “Kabhi Kabhi to Yeh Sadma Uthana Parhta Hei” in raag Pahari.
The programme was compered by well known Radio and stage personality, Vijay Atri.
