JAMMU, Dec 28: A CME on Pediatric Endocrinology was organized by IAP City Branch Jammu in collaboration with the Department of Pediatrics, Government Medical College Jammu.
On the occasion, eminent guest faculty was Dr Rakesh Kumar Angral, Professor Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetic unit, Advanced Pediatric Centre, PGIMER Chandigarh, who happens to be son of soil. He delivered a lecture on short stature. Dr Sourav Uppal, Director Endo Kidz Clinic Jalandhar talked about SGA (small for Gestation age).
Dr Ghanshyam Saini, Professor and Head, Department of Pediatrics, SMGS Hospital Jammu and president IAP City Branch Jammu in his welcome address highlighted the endocrine issues in children and need for their proper care and management.
Chief guest for the occasion Professor Dr Suraj Gupte, while addressing the gathering, appreciated the IAP city branch Jammu for organizing such CME. He also lauded the guest speakers for their crisp and informative lecture.
Dr Pooja Bharti, Lecturer Pediatrics, conducted the proceedings and Dr Sanjeev K Digra, Professor Pediatrics delivered vote of thanks.
