LOS ANGELES, Sept 27: Actress Milla Jovovich credits the “Resident Evil” franchise for her family life.
The 40-year-old actress met her husband, director Paul WS Anderson, while filming the first movie in 2002 and the couple now has two daughters, reported People magazine.
“I think that the franchise has definitely made me who I am today. And I have two kids and an amazing husband because of it,” Jovovich said.
The actress recently finished filming the last movie in the franchise and was thrilled the shoot turned out to be a “real family affair, with her husband directing and their oldest daughter, Ever Gabo, playing the Red Queen in the project.
The 40-year-old reprises her role as Alice for the last time in the sixth film, but she is having a hard time saying goodbye to the character.
“Resident Evil: The Final Chapter” hits theatres in January next year. (PTI)
