JAMMU, May 6: Bari Brahmana Police has registered a case against Rakesh Kumar of Bali, husband of Suman Kumari under Section 498/A and 323 RPC for harassment for dowry and assaulting his wife.
According to police the young house wife approached the PS Bari Brahmana this morning with injuries on her head and lodged a complaint that she was thrashed by her husband during the night inflicting injuries on her person. She said that she is being subjected to domestic violence and sought protection under law against the cruelty by her husband. The Bari Brahmana Police has registered a case and started investigation. However the accused is still at large.
