It has been observed that many hunters are quite active in places like Samba, Kathua, Udhampur and other hilly areas of the State.
In order to save this wildlife from poaching, the concerned Department should wake up to this reality. In this connection, it is requested that the licences of the hunters be verified at the earliest. Those who are found responsible for killing be punished according to the law of the land.
