SRINAGAR, Nov 21: Security forces have launched a massive hunt against the driver and the conductor of the truck who were ferrying a group of militants who were killed on Friday during an encounter on National Highway in Jammu.
An official said that Police have sent a communication to Kulgam district Police about Younis Ahmad Dar, 26, and his brother Faisal Hassan Dar, 18, of Muhammad Pora village of Kulgam district about their involvement in ferrying the militants in a truck. The communication said that they fled from the scene of the encounter and are absconding.
Army had also gone to the village and asked the family about the whereabouts of Dar brothers who have gone into hiding.
However, a family member said that they loaded their truck bearing registration No (JK03D-7806) on November 14 and left for Kanpur. He said that till November 18 they were in contact with them but all of a sudden their mobiles were off.
