KATHMANDU, June 19:
Hundreds of yoga enthusiasts, including Nepalese film actors, today gathered at the Indian Embassy here and performed various asanas, ahead of the International Day of Yoga on Thursday.
A video message by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also played, as around 500 people assembled for the event on the Indian Embassy premises. Leading actress and Miss Nepal 2011 Malina Joshi, Indian diplomats, embassy officials and journalists were among those who participated in the event this morning. India’s Ambassador to Nepal Manjeet Singh Puri stressed the importance of yoga in mental and physical health of an individual. (PTI)
