Birth anniversary of Swami Vishwatamanand Saraswati Ji observed

SUNDERBANI, Jan 27: National Conference Provincial President Devender Singh Rana today exhorted people to imbibe the spirit of humanism, which is core of every religion, saying this will guide society to overcome hate, animosity and bitterness that is pivotal for making this world a better place to live in.
“Strengthening camaraderie and inculcating the spirit of sacrifice for wellbeing of fellow human beings holds promise for better tomorrow and harmonious growth of the humanity”, Rana said at a congregation held at Sunderbani in connection with the birth anniversary of Shri Shri 1008 Atal Peethadeeshwar Maha Mangleshwar Rajguru Shri Swami Vishwatamanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj.
Shri Shri 1008 Atal Peethadeeshwar Maha Mangleshwar Rajguru Shri Swami Vishwatamanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj was greeted by cross section of people , political leaders cutting across party lines and different sections of the society.
Rana said the spiritual land of India has emanated the message of humanity from times immemorial and guided the humanity to peace, prosperity and spiritual bliss. This glorious heritage and legacy has to be sustained and strengthened by spreading the divine message of love, compassion and righteousness. He hoped the people will preach and practice the divine philosophy by dealing with fellow human beings with love and dignity.
The Provincial President lauded the efforts of the Guruji in spread of education in Jammu and elsewhere in the country, saying the mission will go a long way in emancipation and education of generations by attaining value based learning alongside mainstream education. He hoped that pass outs from these schools will prove to be the real ambassadors of peace and work for spreading the message of love, non-violence and respect for human beings irrespective of their caste and creed.
Referring to the time tested traditions and great secular ethos of Jammu and Kashmir, he said the people have lived to these traditions by maintaining amity and brotherhood despite for centuries. This spirit, he said, is not only to be preserved but also passed on to the posterity to sustain the harmonious growth of the society as a whole. He called upon the people to work for social justice and classless society.
