Hudh Mata Trisandhya Yatra starts with religious fervour

JAMMU, July 1: Shri Hudh Mata Trisandhya Yatra (SHMTY) started with religious fervour and enthusiasm.
In this connection yatris alongwith pious Mata Trishul proceeded from Panch Narayan Mandir, Mandir Dharalla Nagri towards Geeta Bhawan Parade Ground, Jammu on June 30, 2014. After night haltage, they along with other yatris are proceeded towards Kishtwar the base camp of the yatra today with night halt at Ikhala.
On July 3, 2014 the pious Chhari shall be taken from Radha Krishan Mandir, Sounder to Virat Mata Mandir, Dilgooth. On July 4, 2014    the yatra along with pious Chhari shall proceed towards Gowkooth.
On the intervening night of July 5 and 6 a hawan shall be performed for well being, peace and prosperity of the humanity. After offering Sampuran Ahuti and having parshad on July 6 the pilgrims will have a bath in the pious waters of Trisandhya Nadi which sometimes flows from the top of hill near famous Braham Peak thrice a day i.e. in the mornimg, noon and evening and stops naturally.
To  have a bath in pious water of Trisandhya Nadi is considered a great blessings of Shri Hudh Mata. The pilgrims would then also proceed for the Darshan of Doodh Ganga and Braham Sarovar and start their back journey. The  committee has arranged free langer facilities to the yatris from Kishtwar during the yatra period.
