JAMMU, June 9: Shree Hudh Mata Trisandhaya Yatra Managing Committee Dachhan Kishtwar has decided to perform the Holy Yatra of the Mata in Dachhan area of Marwah teshil of district Kishtwar from June 23.
In a statement issued here today, the Committee said the yatris from Kishtwar and out side the district would proceed towards the village Sounder the base camp of the yatra from Shree Gouri Shanker Mandir Kishtwar with night halt at Ikhalla on June 23.
The Chahari Mubarak (holy amce) will be taken from Radha Krishan Mandir Sounder with night haltage at Virat Mata mandir Dilgoot (Panjdhara) next day. The yatra along Charri Mubarak will proceed towards the Gokooth on June 25 and it will reach Kaikooth of June 26, the statement added.
It said on the same day the yatris will have a bath in Braham Sarovar and the holy waters of Trisandhaya Nadhi, which flows, from the top of a hill near famous Brahma peak thrice a day. A hawan would be performed for the well being of the humanity and for restoration of total peace on the occasion.
After performing darshan, pooja and puranahuti yatris would return towards their homes.
The Managing Committee in an appeal to district administration has urged it to take immediate measures for the repair of the pavements to the road from village Ikhala to Bhawan and provide security cover to yatris from Kishtwar till its return. It also demanded other basic facilities for yatris like medical aid, supply of ration on concession rates and take other related measures to facilitate the journey to the sacred shrine.
The Committee has arranged free langer facilities for the yatris enroute, the statement added.
