JAMMU, Feb 24: Housing and Urban Development Department has impressed upon all the HoDs and DDOs under its administrative control to strictly adhere to the guidelines issued by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) for the procurement.
Instruction in this regard has been issued by HUDD after it came into notice that the departments under its administrative control are not following these guidelines in letter and spirit.
Pertinent to mention that the CVC has time and again issued guidelines for procurement to ensure transparency and prevent corruption. These guidelines apply to public service organizations and include requirements for e-procurement, tendering, and contract selection.
