JAMMU, Sept 29: Hindustan Shiv Sena (HSS) today held a massive protest demonstration against ERA, PWD JMC and other agencies for not repairing roads of city which have been totally damaged.
Shiv Sainiks shouted slogans against ERA , PWD and demanded that all the roads of the city especially from Chand Nagar Chowk to Indira Chowk be repaired immediately. While addressing the protesters National president of HSS, Dimpy Kohli and its general secretary G.I Singh said that despite repeated request for renovation of roads in the city ERA , PWD , JMC authorities have failed to address the problem as a result of which the life of Jammuites has become a hell and roads have now became death traps. They warned authorities that if the roads are not repaired before Navratras HSS will organize a massive protest and the whole responsibility will be on district administration and ERA.
Kohli said that road stretch between J.P.Chowk to Indira Chowk is very much important as tourists from all parts of the world reach Shri Raghunath Ji Temple via this road and it is in very bad condition for 3-4 months.
Others who were present in the protest were Rajan Gupta, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Kulbir Singh Chib, Satish Sahni, Vishal Kohli and K.S Rao.
