JAMMU, Apr 9: HPCL flagged off its first lot of 20 Tank Trucks (TTs) today to its petroleum storage depot in Leh.
The TTs will complete the 1400 km arduous round trip journey passing through the challenging Banihal and Zojilla passes and ensure that the product is safely delivered to the highest altitude depot in India.
This kicks off the summer dispatch season and winter stocking process wherein HPCL will dispatch more than 25000 KL petroleum products like MS, HSD and SKO for consumption of public and Armed forces in Ladakh.
In the current COVID 19 pandemic situation, HPCL team in Jammu & Kashmir is braving all challenges to deliver these essential petroleum commodities to remote corners of the Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
