JAMMU, Oct 14: Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department, Satesh Nehru, took a review meeting of the Directorate of Urban Local Bodies, Jammu here today.
Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jammu, Arun Kumar Sharma, through a power Point presentation, apprised him of functioning of the department.
The Secretary reviewed various Centrally sponsored and other schemes and stressed completion of ongoing projects in a time bound manner. He directed the field agencies to take all the necessary measures for providing better services to the general public.
He assured the department of sufficient funds so that the filed agencies are in a position to render the best possible services to the public.
Among others, Executive Engineers, Executive Officers and other officers of the department were present in the meeting.
