KATHUA, May 12: A newly married house wife has been hospitalized in a serious condition after consuming some poisonous substance in the market here today.
According to police Priya of Basohli was recently married with Amit a youth of Hiranagar though she had not been divorced by her previous husband Mukesh of Kunjwani.
Police said that Priya today approached Women Cell Kathua for counseling and in the meantime she came to market where she consumed some poisonous substance mysterious circumstances. Later she called her mother on phone narrating the story to her.
Police further added that the women reported back to Women Cell and she was in unconscious situation. The Police took her to District Hospital Kathua where from she was shifted to GMC in a serious condition.
The Kathua Police ahs registered a case under relevant sections of the law.
