UDHAMPUR, Nov 30: House of a Special Police Officer (SPO) was gutted in accidental fire at village Dhanu, about 20 km from Udhampur town, here last night.
Even as there was no loss of life or injuries to anybody in the incident, entire house was completely gutted in the fire that broke out in the house of SPO Gurdev Singh, who is posted at Police Post Tikri.
On getting information about the incident, Fire fighting teams also reached the spot and with the help of locals tried to control the blazes but all in vain. Nothing could be saved in the incident and the affected family members have been shifted to nearby houses.
