JAMMU, Feb 17: Hora Ashtami festival was celebrated with full religious fervor and gaiety in various ashrams and temples during last night.
In this connection night -long pooja -archana, Bhajan Kirtan and prayers for human prosperity were held. Hundreds of devotees thronged Bhagwaan Gopinath Ji Ashram Udaiwala Bohri to participate in the night long celebrations of Hora Ahstami. The celebrations concluded at 5-30 am this morning. The night long prayers were held invoking blessings of Master.
The religious function was held at Jagaat Amba Mata Chakereswar Temple Dhok Paloura where hundreds of devotees participated in the function under the lotus feet of Goddess. The Hora Ashtami was celebrated at Pushkara Swami Sewa Ashram Laxmi Puram Chinore and Najabgarh Delhi. The night long function in connection with Hora Ashtami was also held at Sharika Peeth Subash Nagar in which a large number of devotees held prayers and participated in Bhajan Kirtan. The function was also held at Swami Kumar Ji Ashram Muthi and at Amritkund Pukhribal, temple Bantalab.
