Homoeopathic Association resents step motherly treatment to graduates

JAMMU, Dec 31: Members of JKUT branch of Homoeopathic Association of India expressed resentment over step motherly treatment with Homoeopathic graduates by the Government for not allowing them in Certificate Programme in Community Health.
It was resented by all the members of the Association during a meeting which was held under chairmanship of Dr BR Dubb, president and Dr Raj Kumar Arora, working president of the Association, here today.
They alleged that recently, the National Health Mission advertised an advertisement for the course of Certificate Programme in Community Health wherein they didn’t allowed the Homoeopathic graduates for the same course. “However, Homoeopathic graduates are well versed with the subject of community medicine as it’s taught to them for a year in the syllabus of BHMS,” they added.
All the members unanimously resolved that to approach the Mission Director NHM, Director ISM&H and Department of Health and Medical Education and expressed their resentment against the step motherly policies of the Government.
They also resolved that to approach the Court of justice to get their due right of equality.
They demanded a separate Homoeopathic Medical College in Jammu at par with Ayurveda and Unani Colleges and also demanded that in future whenever the Government and Department of Health and Medical Education will advertise any post for Ayush graduates, the Homoeopathic doctors should be considered equally and should be equally given opportunities and their due share in jobs.
