POONCH, Aug 27: Holy mace led by Shri Shri 1008 Mahamandleshwar Swami Vishavatmanad Saraswati Ji Maharaj along with a large number of devotees returned to Dashnami Akhara Mandir Poonch from Shri Budha Amarnath Ji shrine at Mandi.
The District Police contingent gave `Guard of Honour’ to the Charri Mubarak, in presence of Deputy Commissioner, Rahul Yadav, SSP Rajiv Pandey, Brig Manish Gupta (Local Brigade Commander), ADC Dr Basharat, Addl SP Anwar-ul-Haq and other district officers.

Besides, MLA Poonch Shah Mohd Tantray, MLC Yash Pal Sharma and members of SD Sabha, VHP, Bajrang Dal, Akhara Mandir Committee and prominent citizens were also present on the occasion. The grand reception was accorded to the Charri Mubarak and Swami Ji on their arrival at around 9.30 am at Poonch.
A grand function was organized in Akhara Mandir complex which was addressed by Swami ji besides MLA and other prominent persons. They lauded the efforts of the District Administration for the smooth and peaceful conduct of yatra.
Swami Ji also extended gratitude to the majority community for its support for the smooth conduct of annual yatra. He felicitated DC, SSP besides others for their support and role for making this yatra a grand success. With this, the annual Shri Budha Amarnath Ji Yatra finally concluded.
