JAMMU, Dec 4: J&K president of Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha Youth Wing, Pawan Singh Chib has demanded that holiday on the anniversary of Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah should be cancelled as he had always worked against the nation.
Chib further said that as last Dogra ruler, Maharaja Hari Singh has always worked in the interest of the nation and took everyone along so a holiday should be announced on his birth anniversary as it has also remained a long pending demand of the people of Jammu.
In a handout Chib said that Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha Youth Wing will take the matter seriously and appealed Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu to declare a holiday on the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh.
