JAMMU, June 22: The UT Government today called upon all Deputy Commissioners to convene DISHA meeting regularly as per guidelines notified by the Union Ministry of Rural Development.
A Circular to this effect was issued by General Administration Department (GAD) Principal Secretary Manoj Kumar Dwivedi.
The Circular pointed out that during a recent review undertaken by the Government of India, it was observed that the DISHA meetings are not being conducted on regular basis in many districts of the States/Union Territories, a matter which was viewed with concern by the authorities.
