JAMMU, Sept 13: Government has attached Dr Dinesh Kumar, Head, Community Medicine Department (P&SM), Government Medical College, Jammu with the office of Directorate of Health Services, Jammu without citing any reason.
“Pending enquiry into his conduct, Dr Dinesh Kumar, HoD, Community Medicine Department (P&SM), Government Medical College, Jammu, is attached with the Director, Health Services, Jammu, till further orders,” an order issued on September 12 by Atal Dulloo, Financial Commissioner, Health & Medical Education Department, said. However, no reason of his attachment and enquiry was mentioned in the order.
Meanwhile, another issued today by Principal and Dean, GMC Jammu, Dr Sunanda Raina said that in the light of attachment of Dr Dinesh Kumar, Professor, Community Medicine Department, GMC Jammu, with the office of Directorate of Health services, Jammu, Dr Rajiv Kumar Gupta, the next senior most Professor in the Department of P&SM shall look after the work and functioning of the department till further orders.
