Hockey Team aiming at title retention, says Qureshi

NEW DELHI: Ahead of the fifth Sultan of Johor Cup, Indian forward Arman Qureshi reckons that the team is working to improve the penalty corner conversion rate to retain the title.
”During our practice sessions, we have made good progress and aim for a better penalty corner conversion rate. We want to make our attack even stronger in the upcoming matches and look forward to carry out our game strategies firmly to claim the title,” Qureshi said.
”The team is very confident of the fact that we are the two-time champion of the Sultan of Johor Cup and  look forward to retain the title this time around too. This has made us even more positive of playing the matches ahead,”  he added.
The tournament will commence on October 11 with India playing Pakistan on the opening day. (AGENCIES)
